So, yesterday was the Ohio State Michigan game. For those who do not live in Ohio (or that state up North) - you may not realize the dynamics of the day. It is second only to Thanksgiving in the amount of food consumed. We invited our group of faithful family friends, and then had our 2 oldest invite 3 classmates with thier respective families. We had a chili cookoff, drank a few Samuel Adams, ate more than a few buckeeyes, and watched a great game. GO BUCKS! The girls played dolls, littlest pet shop, and ran screaming through the house for 3 hours. The boys played with the ever faithful toy - legos. They also enjoyed chasing the girls. At the end of the day, I realized how very blessed I am. We get so busy in our lives; working, running kids to sports, dance, church, etc, that we just don't take the time as often as we should to make new freinds and enjoy the ones we have. Thank you Buckeyes for a great game and a great excuse to hang out!
